The Knick ProLine P 45000 High Voltage Transducer Series has been designed specifically for rolling stock applications and is certified accordingly to EN 50155. This is a key standard and applies to all electronic equipment for control, regulation, protection, diagnostic & energy supply installed on rail vehicles and the hardware of all rolling stock electronic equipment or systems performing safety-related functions.

The Knick ProLine P 45000 High Voltage Transducer are designed for measuring high DC and AC voltages on all DC and AC rail vehicles including diesel-electric vehicles. Suitable for nominal measurements up to 1500V DC. With Test voltage 10kV AC and reinforced insulation up to 2.3kV AC/DC.

There are 4 standard nominal input voltage ranges including; ±500V, ±750V, ±1000V, ±1500V. All with a nominal output of ±50mA. The power supply requirement is ±15V DC ±10%, ±24V DC ±10%.

There are options available for both high voltage input and signal output/power connections; for the input there are two standard options either M5 Screw connection to suitable cable lugs or 2m potted fixed cables. For the output/power side we offer as standard screw terminal block or optional push-in terminal connections.
