GW Instek GBM-3080 Description
The GW Instek GBM-3080 Battery Tester is a compact benchtop battery tester suitable for the laboratory test area or production test facility it simultaneously measures and records both the batteries internal resistance and the battery voltage. It offers seven resistance ranges from 0…3.1000mΩ and 0…3200.0Ω with a resolution down to 0.1µΩ and two voltage ranges of 0…8.00000V and 0…80.0000V with a resolution down to 10µV ideal for precision cell voltage measurements. These test ranges cover all individual battery cells types and all but the largest battery packs.
As well as the excellent measurement capabilities, the GBM-3000 Battery Testers Series also provides a number of functions and features for your convenience. Test lead (probe) contact status detection function is to effectively prompt users whether test lead (probe) and DUT are in good contact to ensure the validity of the measured value. The also GBM-3000 series provides two data storage methods (up to 10,000 lots of measurement values). "General storage" only stores the measured voltage and resistance values; "statistical storage" has the related parameters (Cp/Ckp/Mean/MAX/MIN...) for the statistical analysis. Users can store the data from the measurement process in the internal memory first and then transfer the data to the computer via flash drive for subsequent analysis without being limited to the connection with the computer.
In addition, for retrieving and storing measurement results via the transmission method, the GBM-3000 series provides RS-232C/USB device (virtual COM) for writing programs and retrievals. The handler interface is provided for external trigger control via PLC. All of these interfaces are available as standard.
Measured resistance and voltage data is displayed via a large bright 3.5” TFT-LCD Display the measurement data can be transferred to a PC for importing to a spreadsheet program or storage as CSV files for further evaluation or comparison. Interval and manual measurements can be triggered by a keystroke or external trigger signal.
A range of test leads are offered to cover different designs of battery cell or battery pack terminations and at least one will be suitable for your particular application.
