GW Instek GDS-2000HG Series of Digital Storage Oscilloscopes offers 3 models with bandwidths of 250MHz, 350MHz and 500MHz. With this HG range not only have we stepped up from 8-bit to 12-bit ADC for higher resolution and thus waveform clarity that’s then also supported by its 10.1” TFT 1024 x 600 high resolution colour LCD display.
But GW Instek have also made this their Flagship range by adding an Arbitrary Waveform Generator for advanced applications requiring complete stimulus and response testing, the HG models thus offer a more comprehensive solution: Featuring a 50 MHz Arbitrary Waveform Generator, this device offers 28 standard waveforms and a one-key copy function to replicate real-world anomalies for stress testing.
What we like:
The GDS-2000HG Series provides higher bandwidths up to 500MHz with 2.5GSample/s maximum real time sampling rate. The 12-bit ADC for higher resolution and thus waveform clarity is the standout feature but this is then also supported by the large 10.1” TFT 1024 x 600 high resolution colour LCD display. With the HG Series you also have the built in 50 MHz Arbitrary Waveform Generator thus making it GW Instek’s Flagship range.
