GW Instek GLC-10000 Description
The GW Instek GLC-10000 Leakage Current Tester is utilised to ensure that the manufacturer of electrical products complies with international standards and to ensure operator safety, leakage current tests are also performed under normal and faulty operating conditions. Leakage current tests can be separated into 3 basic types: Earth Leakage current, Enclosure Leakage current and Patient Leakage current. The GW Instek GLC-10000 complies with IEC, EN, UL and other international electrical safety standards requiring leakage current measurement.
GLC-10000 features 12 simulated human impedance networks that comply with related safety regulations so as to conduct leakage current test for electric equipment under normal condition or single fault condition. These 12 simulated human impedance networks support testing of both medical and general electronic equipment to ensure that the products are design and manufactured in compliance with requirements of safety regulations including IEC, UL & medical standards including IEC 60601-1:2020 3.2rd.
The GW Instek GLC-10000 has twelve measurement networks (Measuring Devices: MD) supporting GB/12113, IEC/UL and other international standards for electrical products:
- MD-A: UL
- MD-B: UL
- MD-C1: IEC60990
- MD-C2: IEC60990
- MD-C3: IEC60990
- MD-D: IEC60598
- MD-E: (1kΩ):-general application
- MD-F: IEC60601
- MD-G: IEC61010-1
- MD-H: (2kΩ)-general application
- MD-I: JIS
- PCC: (35Ω)
The GW Instek GLC-10000 covers 20 leakage current measurement tests covering general electrical equipment and medical electrical equipment.
