Leakage Current Tester
Many electrical products must undergo electrical safety testing to ensure their safety. These tests include insulation resistance, withstand voltage, ground continuity and leakage current tests. These tests are complex and critical for safety standards compliance. To comply with international standards and to ensure operator safety, leakage current tests are also performed under normal and faulty operating conditions and this is where the GW Instek GLC-9000 is utilised.
Leakage current tests can be separated into 3 basic types: Earth Leakage current, Enclosure Leakage current and Patient Leakage current. The GW Instek GLC-9000 complies with IEC, UL and other international electrical safety standards requiring leakage current measurement.
What we like:
The GW Instek GLC-9000 utilizes nine measurement networks (also called Measuring Device: MD) to provide the simulation of human body whilst the EUT (equipment under test) is taking a leakage current test this is all carried out in compliance with international test standards and regulations each of these measurement networks can be simply selected via the colour TFT touch screen which makes operation intuitive & simple whilst making it easier to observe test results.
