The Janitza UMG 103-CBM is a most affordable universal measurement device. It can be used for many applications that would normally have been covered by traditional Power Transducers, Energy Meters or even Power Quality Analysers. It is suitable for power distribution and sub-distribution systems within Building Management and Light Industrial Installations. It offers standard industrial RS485 interface with Modbus RTU Communication.
What we like:
The unit can measure all of the normal parameters required for monitoring an AC 3 phase system including L1, L2 & L3 Voltage, Current, Power, Apparent Power, Reactive Power, Effective Energy, Reactive Energy along with THD. That’s 27 measurements variables in total. Capture all of these measurements in 15 min intervals to its internal memory and you have a 144 days’ worth of data. So, it can also act as a data logger!
