The Knick ProLine P 22400 Loop Powered Signal Isolator offers a max working voltage of 600V with protective separation up to 600V to EN 61140 by reinforced insulation according to EN 61010-1. Surge withstand is specified at 1kV 1.2/50μs according to EN 61000-4-5. The functional safety requirements of this Isolator have been stepped up to achieve SIL 3. It’s also available as 2 channel device and a signal splitter with one input and two outputs. To guarantee the specified isolation capabilities these devices are subjected to routine testing at 5.4kV AC input against output and 3.6kV between channels to ensure working voltages up to 600V are maintained. This is then backed up with a 5-year warranty.
