The Knick VariTrans P 41000 D1 Fixed DC Low Voltage Input Transducers can be used as an interface with a range of process transmitters used within high voltage systems. There are a total of 6 input/output signal combinations to choose from. These include the following low voltage transmitter output signals 0…1V, ±1V & ±10 and the following process signal outputs of either ±20mA, 4…20mA or ±10V. Further voltage input/output combinations are also available.

The isolation system meet the requirements of EN61010-1 and EN 50124-1 This European Standard deals with insulation coordination in railways. It applies to equipment for use in signalling, rolling stock and fixed installations. In this series, Knick relies on the newly developed TransShield technology, which compared to conventional designs enables very compact high-voltage transformers with low leakage. Thanks to the resulting space advantage, the P 41000 D1 fixed low voltage input transducers can be installed in its narrow 22.5 mm wide modular housing.
