The Knick VariTrans P 41000 D1 Current Measurement Transducers offer a range of fixed mV inputs that are general taken from precision DC current shunt resistors. There are a total of 20 input/output signal combinations to choose from. These include all popular standard DC current shunt output ranges including ±60mV, 90mV, 150mV, 300mV & 500mV and all are available with standard process signal outputs of either ±20mA, 4…20mA or ±10V. Further voltage input/output combinations are also available.

The isolation system meet the requirements of EN61010-1 and EN 50124-1 This European Standard deals with insulation coordination in railways. It applies to equipment for use in signalling, rolling stock and fixed installations. In this series, Knick relies on the newly developed TransShield technology, which compared to conventional designs enables very compact high-voltage transformers with low leakage. Thanks to the resulting space advantage, the P 41000 D1 DC current shunt isolators can be installed in its narrow 22.5 mm wide modular housing.
