DC High Voltage Input Transducers for High Voltage Systems with 2.2kV AC/DC Isolation.
The Knick VariTrans P 42000 DC High Voltage Input Transducers have been designed for use on high voltage DC systems. The isolation system meets the requirements of EN61010-1 with 2.2kV AC/DC and protection against electric shock with protective separation to EN 61140. The rated isolation voltages also meet the requirements of EN 50124-1 this European Standard deals with insulation coordination in railways. It applies to equipment for use in signalling, rolling stock and fixed installations. A test voltage of 10kV AC is used to check isolation between the input and output/power supply.

The VariTrans P 42000 DC High Voltage Input Transducers have been specially designed for measurements within high voltage systems. They reliably isolate high potentials at the input circuit. The separation distances are designed to withstand permanent voltages up to 2.2kV AC/DC and fast transients up to 13.5kV. Protection against electric shock is achieved through protective separation according to EN 61140 between input and output and power supply, which is tested at 10kV.
There are a total of 11 DC voltage input ranges and 3 output signal combinations to choose from spread across 3 different transducer with a range of selectable options. (With others available on request)
