Aranet4 Pro
It may be more appropriate and a requirement for Head Teachers or Facility Managers at the larger Nurseries, Preschools & Primary Schools to monitor a number of locations with respect to CO2 levels and Temperature. This is where the Aranet4 Pro comes into play as you are able to download data from many locations to a data base where all measurement can be reviewed and recorded to show on going compliance and control.
The Aranet4 Pro simply monitors this CO2 level giving you a clear indication of the quality of Air that you breathe. It continually records this information to its integral memory. At any time, you can download this information (up to 30 days) to your smart phone/tablet using the Aranet4 App and then view a selected time frame of up to 90 days. But its big advantage is that this data can also be collected remotely over long distances via its radio link to a centrally located base station. From where all locations can be monitored and data stored for future reference.
There is a simple sign that an occupied room is not well ventilated and that’s the level of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) present. This is basically the air that we breathe out. Fresh air and thus low levels of CO2 help you maintain concentration and also reduce the potential for the transmission of potential airborne infections.
If a rooms CO2 Level is high and this high level has been produced by several people simply breathing and talking then this combined CO2 mixture is a clear indication that Airborne Pathogens may be present and the CO2 level should be reduced via ventilation. Pathogens in simple terms may also be referred to as infectious, or simply germs.
Indoor CO2 Levels of less than 800ppm would be considered acceptable but they could quite easily increase to over 1000…3000ppm if simple actions to improve the ventilation or reduce occupancy are not taken. You can simply show children that by opening a window or door for a short time how the CO2 level drops and this will improve the quality of the air that they breath.
