The Knick ProLine P45000 High Voltage Transducer Series has been designed specifically for rolling stock applications and is certified accordingly to EN 50155. This is a key standard and applies to all electronic equipment for control, regulation, protection, diagnostic & energy supply installed on rail vehicles and the hardware of all rolling stock electronic equipment or systems performing safety-related functions. Not only are these products designed to surpass their competitor’s specification but they are also manufactured to order within 4-6 weeks!

The Knick ProLine P45100 High Voltage Transducer are designed for measuring high DC and AC voltages on all DC and AC rail vehicles including diesel-electric vehicles. Suitable for nominal measurements up to 3000V DC. With Test voltage 20kV AC and reinforced insulation up to 3.6kV AC/DC.

There are 6 standard nominal input voltage ranges including; ±500V, ±750V, ±1000V, ±1500V, ±2000V & ±3000V. All with a nominal output of ±50mA. The power supply requirement is ±15V DC ±10%, ±24V DC ±10%.

There are two options available for the High Voltage Input connections, either M5 Screw connection to suitable cable lugs or 2m potted fixed cables. For the output/power side we offer as standard screw terminal block.

Also available if required is a SIL Version suitable for applications with functional safety up to SIL 2 / SIL 3.
