The GW Instek ASR-3400HF High Frequency Programmable AC/DC Power Source offers two nominal AC & DC voltage ranges of 0…200Vrms/0…285DC and 0…400Vrms/570DC at frequencies of up to 5000Hz. 3 key programmable output modes including, AC Power Output, DC Power Output and AC & DC Power Output here the output can seamlessly change from AC to DC. There are more than 20,000 ‘Built-In’ waveform combinations in 7 categories to quickly simulate different AC voltage waveforms. The ASR-3000 Series also offers built in common ISO-16750-2 test waveforms in the editable Sequence Mode, also in the Simulate Mode common abnormalities in mains power such as fluctuations in voltage, phase and frequency can be run as one-off anomalies or cyclic anomalies
What we like:
Well it’s the price to power output when compared to the other manufactured products along with the programmability of the unit plus its large graphical display that in its ‘Standard Display Mode’ shows the key voltage, current and power measurements along with set parameters and configurable units. In ‘Simple Display Mode’ it shows all of the measurement available and in the ‘Harmonic Display Mode’ it shows both harmonic voltage and harmonic current measurements up to the 100th order. The frequency range is also impressive, for AC 40…5000Hz & DC 1…5000Hz Its ability to generate a range of standard waveforms and mains anomalies is also a great feature. It’s basically offers the user the best market value of any 4KVA AC/DC Power Source.
