Camille Bauer’s Kinax 3W2 Angular Position Transmitter utilizes contactless, capacitive scanning technology to monitor angular position. This non-contact measurement technique is completely free of wear and tear and with its sealed bearings the drive shaft runs almost frictionless with very low starting torque. The Kinax can be offered with 6 standard angular measuring ranges of 0…10°, 30°, 60°, 90°, 180°or 270°. Direction of operation can either be clockwise or counter clockwise with standard corresponding output options of 0…1mA, 0…5mA, 0…10mA or 4…20mA. There are 3 standard shaft options to choose from and they are either 2mm Diameter/6mm long, 6mm diameter/12mm long or ¼” diameter/12mm long.
