Camille Bauer Linax PQ5000-0 Description
The Linax PQ5000 Power Quality Analyzer monitors your power supply it will not prevent problems caused by a device failure, plant malfunctions, process interruptions or communication breakdowns but it will monitor the supply in line with EN50160 the standard which defines the main characteristics of the voltage at a network user’s supply terminals in public low voltage and medium voltage electricity distribution systems under normal operating conditions. EN50160 gives the limits or values within which the voltage characteristics can be expected to remain. The standard defines the responsibilities of the Energy Supplier which includes Providing Energy/Electricity to the Recipient, Maintaining the Continuity (Supply) and Keeping the Network Operating within its Power Quality Parameters.
Thanks to the independent accreditation by METAS to IEC 62586-2:2013 which specifies functional tests and uncertainty requirements for instruments whose function includes monitoring power quality parameters covered by IEC 61000-4-30 the Linax PQ5000 Power Quality Analyzer can serve as a reliable and comparable source of information for Facility Managers, Lead Electrical Engineers, Process Control Engineers or Critical Supply Mangers who proactively wish to monitor the quality of their electrical supply. The Linax PQ5000 Power Quality Analyzer basically helps you detect potential problems with your electrical supply before it becomes a problem and records any supply issues that can later be addressed with your electrical power provider.
